In the village of Shilda, where the Mirianashvili family first cultivated vines and built their wine cellar, laying the foundation for a tradition that would stand the test of time.
Revived in 2001 by Giorgi Mirianashvili, Chelti Winery remains family-owned, now led by his children, Ana and Andria.
Spanning 80 hectares, the estate integrates vineyards, traditional and modern cellars, and a wine tourism complex. During cultivation, an ancient Qvevri was unearthed, reaffirming Georgia's 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition, recognized by UNESCO. Chelti's award-winning wines are enjoyed in 28 countries, bringing Georgian heritage to the world.
